ProScan Imaging Education Foundation is Accreditated with Commendation by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Professional MRI Series

The all-new Professional MRI Series provides a comprehensive educational program that encompasses a broad survey of up-to-date radiologic knowledge in the neurologic and orthopaedic realms. In-depth discussions include neuroradiology of the brain, spine, head, and neck; MRI of the hip, wrist, finger, knee, foot, ankle, shoulder, elbow, and TMJ; and advanced interpretive skills in areas ranging from sports medicine and pediatric orthopaedics to masses and cartilage imaging.

• Number of Lectures: 75
(Neurologic MRI - 40, Orthopaedic MRI - 35)
• Credits Per Lecture: 1.0 - 1.75 CME
Credits for Complete Series: 85.5 CME

WHO SHOULD USE THIS SERIES
Radiologists, primary care physicians, surgeons, MR specialists, sports medicine specialists, referring clinicians

OBJECTIVES
Participants who complete this activity will have studied the normal anatomy, variations, and pathology of the brain, spine, neck, joints, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, foot, osseous masses, soft tissue masses, and other topics; and learned the appearance of the various disease states that can afflict them. Participants should be able to recognize the indications and applications of magnetic resonance imaging and other advanced imaging modalities. The lectures share the practical interpretive advice, subtle nuances, and practice tips gleaned from the instructor, who has read over 500,000 MRIs in his 25-year radiology career. Participants should be able to discuss a multidisciplinary approach toward patient management. Study of this series will result in practice improvement and better patient outcomes.

PHYSICIAN ATTRIBUTES

One or more of the following topics will be addressed during this activity: better image triage, improved diagnostic acumen, change in approach to dilemmas, enhanced communication, practice systems, better utilization of technology, strategies for patient treatment, etc.
