General Information
1. What is an LMS? An LMS is an abbreviation for Learning Management System - a software application that allows e-learning and training. This LMS facilitates access to ProScan Imaging education content, which is used to gain continuing medical education (CME) credits and further medical education for the practicing physician.
2. What is ProScan On-Demand (POD) POD is an abbreviation for ProScan On-Demand. ProScan On-Demand is an internet-based LMS that allows a user to learn and gain CME credit for any or all of our 140+ titles, which total over 170 possible CME credits.
3. What are the differences between ProScan On-Demand products and the ProScan Imaging MRI Education Foundation products? NOTHING. We have made very slight edits in a few of the POD products; however, the content that lies within the products is exactly the same as what you would find on the DVDs that you can purchase from the ProScan Imaging Education Foundation located at www.ProScanShopping.com.. Almost all of the POD products are simply digital, online versions of the DVD products.
4. How do I get a user account if I don't already have one? If you do not have a ProScan On-Demand user account (profile) in our LMS, click on the Free Sign Up link on the home page of the POD website to create a new profile and log in. If you try to create a new account but receive the message, "email address already exists", please email us at proscanondemand@proscan.com to obtain your password.
5. I have not been registered, but when I try to create a profile, a message says I’m in the system already. If you are trying to create a profile with the enrollment key, this error occurs when someone with the exact name is already registered in the system. If you are a new user, click 'No' and a new account will be created for you. If there are any further problems, please contact us at proscanondemand@proscan.com, where we can manually set up an account for you.
6. How do I access the ProScan On-Demand learning platform? You may access the ProScan On-Demand LMS by going to www.proscanondemand.com and logging in on the home page under "Member Login". 13. How do I get to the main menu (Dashboard) when watching a lecture? You can reach the main menu by clicking on the green ‘Menu’ button to the left and then clicking on ‘Main Menu’. If you are not in the middle of a lecture, you can get back to the main menu by clicking ‘My Dashboard’ on the left of the screen.

14. I don’t have time to finish my lecture today, can I just leave? Yes. Your lecture progress is marked by green checkmarks on your Course Outline. To leave the course click “Log Out”. When you return to the lecture, you will see the green checkmarks. You can begin with the last lesson checked off.

16. Whenever I hit the back button on my Internet browser, it makes me login again. Why is this happening? For security purposes, anytime that you hit the back button, the platform will log you out and require you to log back in. In order to direct your way through ProScan On-Demand without having to log back in, use the buttons inside the platform to get to your desired place.
If you ever wish to go back, the best way would be to go to the Main Menu (Dashboard) and then direct to where you want. Look above for how you get to the main menu screen.

Using the Course
17. What happens if I fail one of the Chapter Quizzes or the Final 'Post-Video Exam? You don't have to pass quizzes but you must pass the final post-video exam. You have 15 opportunities to pass the final exam for each lesson with a grade of 75% or higher.
18. I completed a ProScan On-Demand lecture, but the “My Transcripts” section does not have my certificate. Where is it? Please verify that you finished all sections of the lecture. This also includes passing the ‘Post-Video Exam' with a score of 75% or higher. If you have done so, and your certificate is still not showing up, please e-mail us at proscanondemand@proscan.com for help.
19. I have finished my course, but my status is showing as ‘Partially Completed’, and I can’t print my certificate. If you have completed the course with at least the minimum required post-video exam grade, click on 'My Transcripts', and then choose your course. If there is no certificate listed then your course has not been completed. Check your Course Outline for any missing green checkmarks.
20. I completed a ProScan On-Demand lecture and am trying to view my certificate, but it will not show up on the screen. Please be sure that your pop-up blocker is disabled. The image of your certificate will show up in an additional window, which then allows you to print. However, the window can only appear if your pop-up blocker is disabled.
21. How do I complete a course evaluation? You can evaluate courses once you have purchased a ProScan On-Demand lecture. In each specific lecture, you can click the ‘Evaluation’ tab to review and evaluate that lecture.
22. Where do messages come from on my dashboard? Messages are automatically generated when you enroll in a course or complete a course. You may from time to time also receive messages from a course instructor or administrator. You can reply to messages by clicking the name of the sender. When you have finished reading a message, you can delete it with the X mark.
23. My course is frozen – What do I do? Sometimes courses are only partially loaded on your computer because the Internet connection timed out. You can safely close your browser and restart it. You will not lose your place in the course - just click the big Resume Course button on the dashboard!
You may need to clear your cache on your computer so that it does not try to use the broken lesson again. Directions on how to clear your cache are available in the "Troubleshooting" section of the FAQs. If you have trouble "clearing your cache", please contact us at proscanondemand@proscan.com for help.

Troubleshooting
24. How do I clear my Cache? Usually this is done under Tools - Internet Options. This function removes any old files including lessons from your computer so that you can re-download them. This allows for POD to completely refresh so your browser can avoid locating any errors that it had at an earlier time. More detailed directions are available in the question below.
25. My screen is stuck on ‘loading’ - What do I do? Close all browser windows. Now open a new browser window. Select from the top menu: Tools-->Internet Options and then click 'Delete Files' and 'Delete Cookies' under the Temporary Internet file settings. This clears the cached or memorized pages. Now close your browser again. Open a new browser and try accessing a lesson. Sometimes when a file has timed out it is incomplete, and if you don't clear the memorized pages from the browser, the computer will keep trying to run the incomplete page.
26. What if I am having trouble viewing certain areas of the system? ProScan On-Demand requires the use of Adobe Flash Player. If you do not have an up-to-date version of Adobe Flash Player, go to the Adobe website to download a recent version. (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/)
