Mammogram Match   Preventative breast care for all women is now more accessible than ever in the TriState.   The Pink Ribbon Mammogram Match provides funded mammograms and other breast imaging services for low income, uninsured women. While other programs may provide some limited coverage for older women, there is no program in the greater Cincinnati region that provides no cost screening mammograms to women, starting at age 30.   How does the Program Work? Call our hotline at 1.866.557.PINK (7465) and request a simple application. All eligibility information is kept confidential. Uninsured women with family income at or below 200% of the current federal poverty guidelines are eligible. Some women with income in excess of that amount may still qualify when other circumstances indicate severe financial hardship. Once approved, the patient is screened at one of our two ProScan Pink Ribbon Centers. If women need further evaluation after their mammogram, the Pink Ribbon Mammogram Match will fund services including a diagnostic mammogram, breast ultrasound, and breast biopsy. If additional treatment is needed, the staff at the foundation may refer patients to other community agencies such as the Ohio Breast and Cervical Caner project, Medicaid, or other medical assistance programs to assist with treatment.
