BREAST MRI MODULE: 16 CME
Breast MRI merges the morphologic assessment of mammography with the soft-tissue signal characterization of MRI, adding the distinct advantage of angiogenesis evaluation. Learning the MRI appearance of different histologies and differentiating them from benign causes of tissue enhancement is a nuanced task.
This course incorporates a detailed synopsis of breast MRI science, technique, and interpretation based on more than 20,000 cases of experience. It also explains its place within the milieu of total breast imaging and care. Numerous “live” case discussions are included to supplement the course lectures.
ADVANCED ORTHOPAEDIC AND JOINT MRI MODULE : 30 CME
This advanced course provides practical approaches and state-of-the-art updates to interpreting wrist, hand, finger, ankle, foot, toe, elbow, shoulder, hip, and knee joint MRI exams. The program includes anatomy and mechanisms of injury, and such representative topics as osteomyelitis in the diabetic foot, neoplasms, detailed shoulder and hip labral interpretation, and hip femoroacetabular impingement. Talks are supplemented by live case reading sessions.

DISCOVER CHICAGO
The “Windy City,” is home to a diverse mix of cultures that have built a city with an unrivaled tradition of jazz and blues, innovative and sometimes astonishing architecture, an appetite for hearty food, award-winning newspapers, universities full of Nobel laureates and some of the most die-hard sports fans you’ll ever meet. There is not a city in America that loves its sports teams with quite the same heartfelt (and vocal!) pride as Chicago.
In late November, the weather is unpredictable! Cold, wind, rain and snow may be replaced at any time by moderate temperatures and sunny days with blue skies. It is best to come prepared for winter and, hope to, be pleasantly surprised!
Chicago is famous for many outstanding restaurants and for shopping. The Magnificent Mile, beautifully decorated for the holidays, waits to enthrall you with its shimmering elegance. A horse-drawn carriage ride through the winter wonderland of holiday lights is a must! Cabs are abundant in Chicago and an easy way of getting around town.
The Field Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Children’s Museum, Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, and the Chicago Art Institute offer panoply of exceptional and thought-provoking exhibits for visitors.
