ProScan Imaging to Celebrate “Decade of Excellence” at Midtown Center
Cincinnati, OH – May 17, 2007 – ProScan Imaging, LLC (www.proscan.com) is celebrating the tenth year of its Midtown imaging center, located in Columbia Township on the city’s near East Side. In celebration of its first decade of service to physicians and their patients, ProScan Imaging – Midtown will hold an Open House Celebration on Thursday, May 24 from 5:00pm to 9pm. Guided tours of the facility, located at 5400 Kennedy Avenue in Columbia Township, will be available to referring physicians, the media, and the general public during the event. There will be live music, hourly door prizes, along with appetizers and displays.
The ProScan Imaging family of companies was founded in 1996 by Dr. Stephen J. Pomeranz, an internationally recognized radiologist, educator, and author of major texts on advanced imaging topics. “This is where it all started for us,” said Pomeranz, ProScan’s CEO and Medical Director. “Ten years ago, the opening of our Midtown site brought a new level of diagnostic imaging services and expertise to everyone living in the Tri-State area. Since then, we’ve consistently been in the forefront of every new development in advance imaging, from breast MRI to CT lung scans and angiography. In fact, for the past two years we’ve been rated among the nation’s “Top Ten Freestanding Imaging Center Networks” by our professional peers, the readers of Medical Imaging magazine.”
“We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished here at our Midtown center over the past ten years, and we wanted to share that sense of pride with our customers, the local medical community, the media, and the general public,” added site manager Holly Galinger. “We’re also excited to show off our impressive facility, with its 64-slice CT scanner, our state-of-the art MRI suite, our teleradiology reading rooms, and our custom-built education theater.”
Representatives of the Cris Collinsworth ProScan Foundation (www.proscanfoundation.org) will also be at the event to discuss services to the community. The CCPF’s mission is to enhance the lives of women and children through knowledge, services, and hope by promoting breast cancer awareness and education, providing access to early breast cancer detection services, and offering support to breast cancer patients throughout their healing journey. The foundation also provides unique opportunities for children to enhance their intellectual development, giving them increased hope and confidence in their future.
