Stephen J. Pomeranz, M.D. Voted One of Cincinnati's Top Docs
In the January issue of Cincinnati Magazine, Stephen J. Pomeranz, M.D. was recognized as one of the top doctors within the Tri-State area, including Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Voted by his peers as one of the most trusted physicians in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, Dr. Pomeranz is one of the 18 selected radiologists on the "Top Docs" list.
The Voting Process
Cincinnati Magazine asks the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana state medical boards for a list of medical doctors with current licenses in Hamilton, Warren, Butler, Clermont, Boone, Campbell, Kenton, and Dearborn counties. A survey is sent to these 5,297 physicians, asking them to relay whom they would turn to if "you, a family member, or a friend needed medical attention." The only provision given was for the doctors to refrain from nominating themselves. This annual survey resulted in over 571 physicians in 42 medical specialties. The next "Top Docs" is scheduled for the January 2011 issue of Cincinnati Magazine.
Surveys will be distributed to all area physicians in summer 2010.
