On the morning of August 8, 2008, Stephen J. Pomeranz, MD, CEO and Medical Director of ProScan Imaging, appeared with Captain Paul Humphries of the Cincinnati Police Department on the popular Cincinnati drive-time Brian Thomas radio show. On WKRC-AM radio each Friday morning, Thomas runs a special segment called "The Cop Show" from 7 to 8 a.m., usually featuring live call-ins to Cincinnati Police Chief Tom Streicher.

Captain Humphries introduced Brian Thomas and the radio audience to Dr. Pomeranz and the great work ProScan Imaging is doing for the Cincinnati Police Department through their "Saving Lives of Lifesavers" program, which provides free cardiac CT angiography scans to local police officers and firefighters who meet the medical criteria. One highlight of the program was live call-ins from people who had CCTAs themselves and credited the test with either saving their lives or helping to put their worries to rest.
