The 9th Annual Queen City Classic Chess Tournament will be held on
March 12-13, 2010 at Paul Brown Stadium’s Club West!
The event kicks off on the evening of March 12, beginning with an awe-inspiring blindfold match between International Master Irina Krush and International Grandmaster Gregory Kaidanov. Following the match, grandmasters and local masters will host a prize simul in which they each play 40 students simultaneously!
On March 13, the games will begin as multiple sections of students play five rounds of competitive chess. The day will culminate in an exciting closing ceremony where over 150 trophies are awarded! |
